Raymonde de Laroche: postcards and photos

I’ve found 2 photos of Raymonde de Laroche as Rigolboche in the drama “La Savelli” (Réjane theatre, 1906/1907).

This is a postcard with de Laroche as Rigolboche:

Her name was often written as Delaroche, and her theatre carreer can be followed via “Figaro” issues (the best source about Belle Epoque Paris theatres). In 1903 she’s at Sarah Bernhard theatre, in 1904 she’s at Mathurins, next year at Little Palace (I don’t know what a kind of theatre it was), in 1906 she’s at Variétés and later at Théatre Réjane. A 1907 photo caption says she’s moved at Nouveautés:

She’s wearing another dress by Drecoll in “Les Modes”:

Lantelme and Raymonde de Laroche

Raymonde de Laroche was the first woman pilot in the world, but before she became famous as aviator she was an actress. I won’t copy here a wikipedia article about this wonderful woman; but I’d just like to say I was very much surprised when I discovered that Lantelme and de Laroche had known each other and more than that – they had worked in the same theatre and played together at least in one play – “La Savelli”. De Laroche played Rigolboche and Lantelme was madame Durand.

A little article from “Le Figaro”  (12 December 1906):

Mme Réjane a confié le rôle de Rigolboche, dans la Savelli, à Mlle Raymonde Delaroche, une jeune et fort jolie artiste qui s’y est fait déjà remarquer par plusieurs créations intéressantes et qui, si nous en croyons des bruits de coulisse, y apportera une interprétation d’une grâce particulièrement originale et paraîtra tout à fait charmante.

I think Raymonde de Laroche was really very charming (charmante):
