Photos of Geneviève Lantelme here. Collection of photos by famous photographer Léopold Reutlinger is here.

Some photos of Geneviève Lantelme by Léopold Reutlinger:

I’d like to say a word about captions: they are not always correct. For example, this and this are not photos of Lantelme (there are photos of Marthe Regnier in a similar costume among Reutlinger photos, but I’m not sure she’s also on photos marked as Lantelme). And one photo of Simone Frevalles is in reality a photo of Geneviève Lantelme (photo found and identified by Corinne):

books about fashion: Paul Poiret

“Les robes de Paul Poiret racontées par Paul Iribe” (1908): full book, with many pictures, and another version.

“Les choses de Paul Poiret vues par Georges Lepape” (1911): full book, with many pictures.

And a bonus: scanned volumes of French “Gazette du bon ton”, magazine about fashion (1912, 1913, 1914, 1920, 1921, 1922) and “Gazette du bon genre” (1920 only).

Jeanne Paquin in paintings

I won’t copy here a wikipedia article about Jeanne Paquin. She was famous, and her fashion house was very popular during la Belle Epoque. If you take a look at Les Modes magazine on Gallica site, you’ll find her models in almost every issue.

This is a nice portrait of Jeanne Paquin with a little dog, which participated in Paris Salon:

scans from “La Vie Heureuse”, 1910/1911

Sometimes I see in magazines I scan interesting pictures or articles not linked with Lantelme destiny or people she knew. I think I’ll also show these pictures in my blog because I don’t want to create additional blogs for them 🙂

Here are few scans from a French family magazine called “La Vie Heureuse” (A Happy Life).
